About «Gender in Detail»
ORGANIZATION
«Gender in Detail» was founded in 2016 as a niche media outlet on gender issues, conveying complex expert knowledge in simple language to a wide audience.
Over time, the initiative evolved into a comprehensive public project that brings together:
- Research Center
- Media
- Consulting
- Advocacy and community engagement
In 2023, a public organization was officially registered to reflect these changes.
The organization’s structure enables the promotion of a full cycle of change:
- the development of new community-building strategies by the Research Center;
- the promotion of these ideas through media and community engagement (creating grassroots demand);
- communicating the need for implementation through advocacy (top-down influence);
- providing practical tools to implementers through consulting.
Mission
Our mission is to make society fair, safe, and effective by promoting gender equality and inclusivity at all levels of public life, fostering the development of talents, and strengthening Ukraine’s human potential.

target audience
The project’s target audience includes change agents from sectors such as journalism, politics, education, blogging, governance, and civil society who apply the knowledge and tools gained from «Gender in Detail» in their work, promoting the ideas of gender equality within their spheres of influence.
The project’s social media platforms engage an active community of change agents and reach over 100,000 people per week.

Lecture «Gender Disintegration»
The author’s lecture reveals the peculiarities of the development of gender models in Ukrainian society over the last decade.
The lecture has already been attended by: Teva company, IT company Together Networks.
Training «Gender Approach in Project Management»
The example of a project cycle shows how to include a gender approach (mainstreaming) at all stages. The material can be presented as a single training or as a series of trainings. There is a video course for independent work.
The training has already been attended by: CF «Zaporuka» and partner organizations.
